Consumed by greed
This world lies in a pit of our despair
Scorched...punished...scarred...this world dies
Left cast aside without a care
We seek the means to redefine our own existence
We curse the days but we survive
Through sheer persistence and faith
But there's no god here, there's no path to guide us home
And though we pray
There is no saviour to turn the crushing tide away
Beneath the ruins of a war we never wanted
There lies a place inside of us craving confrontation
Too many questions fall upon
The ears of the deaf and dreaming souls
An empty shell, a hollow lifeless void
Please tell me we're safe, please tell me i'm dreaming
Why do i see these things?
Now show me the way, and while i'm still breathing
I will walk through this hell again
Please tell me we're safe, please tell me i'm dreaming
Why do i see these things again?
Now show me the way, and while i'm still breathing
I will walk through this hell again
I will walk through this hell again...again...again

I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228

Short and sweet, this album begins with a Mike Tyson-style jab to the gut and moves down a few inches, ending up with repeated uppercuts to the perineum. Pure fucking shredding genius from soup to nuts.
That part at the end of "Thanatos"? Where the guitar is like "wee-wee, widdley widdley wee wee woo weeeeeee"? It makes my weiner hard. Just brutal af.
Also, ending the album with Thanatos is just... *Chef's kiss*. Death is the perfect end to a joiner the likes of which this album takes you on Blxculx
